Christmas gifts for men

The men in my life are definitely the most difficult to buy for.  If you’re anything like me, when I sketch out a rough list of Christmas presents to buy, brother and Dad are always the hardest to fill.  I always think stylish and functional are the key with men – something they’re not embarrassed to have stashed in their bag or on their bedside table.  I’ve put together a list of potential gifts for the dudes in your life; no socks in sight…

// I love Bloomsbury and Co and the first pick of mine from their site is this Chase and Wonder pencil case – £9.95.

// I am in love with this Click Clock Teak LED alarm clock.  Not only does it look awesome, when you click your fingers it tells you the time, date and temperature.  Cool. – £22.50

// If he’s lucky enough to own an iPad then this Mujjo iPad sleeve, crafted from leather and felt, is definitely the perfect way to keep it safe – £32

// This canvas rucksack from Apparel Uncut is a definite winner for me, I love the military detailing and it’s a steal at £24.

// This Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 from Carphone Warehouse would be a treat for a gadget lover and is a real contender in the tablet market this year.  It runs Android and there’s tons of apps available and multimedia features. £157

// For the guitar lover in your life this Whipping Post wallet is perfect –  room for three cards, a driving licence, cash and a custom pocket for a guitar pick – £35

// This Ted Baker washbag is a beaut; with faux leather and tweed on the reverse I’m pretty sure he’d be proud to whip this out on weekends away. £39.95

// For the man who loves DIY, or abandons it for a beer, this Hairy Bikers bottle opener is the perfect gift. £6.95
