Well I’m clearly not going to be sashaying down any catwalks in this ensemble, but it’s pretty perfect for stomping down gravel tracks instead. This was worn for a little dog walk in the New Forest – the perfect excuse for collecting some conkers, kicking some leaves and swanning around in my favourite hat.
hat: topshop {old – similar £25} // jacket: jack wills {old} // jeans: primark
boots: hunters (old – similar £90} // jumper: ted baker {old}
I have a serious concern however, relating to my favourite hat. I love my camel fedora, but I also deeply yearn for a camel coat. I have actually been hunting for Missguided codes so that I can buy this rather lovely waterfall coat – I can just picture myself swishing around it, paired with some skinny jeans and the perfect chelsea boots (also currently a work in progress). But then I won’t be able to wear my camel fedora with my new camel coat for fear of looking like Indiana Jones. So as you can see, I am struggling through some pretty real concerns right now – how to embrace camel without looking like I’m going on safari, or relegating my favourite hat to the back of the wardrobe. Oh, life…
