Wrist candy

Believe me when I say that I tried extremely hard to come up with a slightly more inventive and creative title for this blog post, but since it’s about some pretty new bracelets I have received, and my new watch – I’m pretty stumped.

When I mosey around Pinterest I can’t help but pin photos of cool boho girls with stacked bracelets halfway up their long slender arms; colourful twine bracelets from summers spent travelling, chunky bangles, slim bracelets with philosophical quotes stamped into them…  Then I remember that any time I wear bangles I take them off within about five minutes of putting them on, and that you can probably hear those women with bracelets up to their elbows coming about a mile off, and I don’t really want to sound like a bunch of keys everywhere I go.

So an androgynous watch (I can’t help it, I absolutely love men’s watches – or any watch with a huge clock face and leather strap), and a dainty bracelet is definitely the way to go for me.  As you probably know by now, I am a bit of a lover of rose gold, and so this Fossil watch from Joshua James Jewellery was an instant winner for me. (Not quite sure why my arm looks quite so hairy or tanned but I’ll go with it).

Knowing my love of rose gold, my friend Nicole bought me this beautiful bracelet for my birthday, which I believe is from Warren James jewellers.  I’ve not taken it off since, it’s so dainty and pretty.

Another perfect Rosie present, Tom’s Mum bought me a set of two wraparound anchor bracelets for my birthday, the other is blue and white stripes.  I love them – you know I’m a sucker for anything nautical!
