Made.com have been my go-to website for stylish furniture for some time now. The thing I love about them is that they have really unique, design-led items but for much more purse-friendly prices than buying them on the high street. They’re one of the brands I often find myself recommending to people – for instance my parents were recently about to buy a lamp from the website of a big department store, and when I showed them Made.com they found it on there for about half the price, so they were pretty chuffed!
In our home, as you probably know from other posts, we like mixing colours, themes, periods and styles and trying to just pull together lots of things that we love. In our living room we have modern-looking sofas from Ikea, alongside mid-century Scandinavian ceramics, some rather retro glassware, multicoloured wallpaper, contemporary art prints and nautical details like our vintage search light. I like to think that there’s a lot of fun things to look at and to take in, and Made.com is always the perfect place to find new items and pieces of furniture to bring into our little home.
I must admit, of all the themes present in our rather mish-mash living room, I have always loved the mid-century/retro theme, and when I spotted these Devlin dining chairs they did rather set my heart a-flutter and I had a feeling they would go perfectly around our dining table.
Not only are they stylish with their curved back design, they’re also really, really comfy. I love the white of the lacquer against our floorboards. I’d really like to get two more in a contrasting colour next!
Do you have a theme in your house or is yours a bit mish-mash like ours? Are you a fan of Made.com?
