My Christmas list, or some first thoughts..

I have added the extra caveat to the post title at the end because my Christmas list is really more of a ‘living document’ – a work in progress if you will until the big day.  I tend to use the Amazon ‘Add to wish list’ function and then send the link to anyone who asks (mainly my parents and Tom, no Russian millionaires are currently waiting in the wings to shower me with gifts unfortunately!) as it’s an easy way of keeping all of my lusted for items in one place! (Remember the days when making your Christmas list meant going through the Argos catalogue and writing down all the toys you wanted? I never got that Mr Frosty though…) Here’s what’s currently lurking on the wishlist….

001. Peanut Butter & Co, Cinnamon Raisin Swirl // Nom Box // £5.07

I might have just treated myself to the white chocolate flavour of this and it’s so good that I’m now eyeing up some further options. Cinnamon Raisin Swirl sounds like the perfect accompaniment to a toasted bagel on a Sunday morning (or any morning…)

002. Guy Bourdin Collection Nars Blush // Urban Retreat // £21.50

I bought the ‘lace’ Sleek blush palette recently which I absolutely love, but I really fancy a Nars blush to add to my collection and the colour of this one is just perfect.

003. Canon 40mm pancake lens // DigitalRev // £110

I get a lot of use out of my 50mm Canon lens and I find that having a fixed lens pushes you to be more creative and find those interesting angles and details.  I think this would be a lot of fun to play with so I’m keeping everything crossed it appears under the tree on Christmas Day!

004. Rusty The Fox Cross-stitch // dotcomgiftshop // £3.95

I am a massive Rusty the Fox fan and have an amazing lunch bag as well as some other Rusty bits so I love the idea of this cross-stitch sampler, it also fits neatly in a 5 x 7 frame if I were to successfully make it!

005. Various Pets Alive and Dead // Amazon // £4.49

I’ve seen really good reviews for this (from friends as well as the ones on Amazon) and even though my to-read pile is getting seriously out of control it’s always nice to have a few books under the tree.

006. The Book of Burger // Amazon // £10.34

I spotted this in Urban Outfitters a few weeks ago and was instantly intrigued.  I am a bit of a die-hard burger fan (as is Tom) so the idea of being able to make some delicious burgers at home (and sloppy sides) is very exciting! I have tried a few recipes but never quite made a burger as good as you can get out so I’m hoping the perfect recipe lies in this book.

007. // Dorothy Perkins // £28

Always a sucker for a Peter Pan collar and anything that looks vaguely ‘Wednesday Addams’-esque this dress sucked me in when I spotted it instore whilst we were in London at the weekend.

008. Christmas Memories Yankee Candle // eBay // £6.49

I have already ordered some Yankee Candles this month but I’ve since discovered there are some bargains to be had on eBay so I can see myself stocking up on these before Christmas rolls around as well as putting them on my Christmas list (you can never have enough Christmas candles).

In support of my initial statement about constantly finding things to lust after I’ve also added these beautiful Love, Zooey skirt shorts from Original Attire to my Christmas list, they are so pretty and swishy and look so comfy!
