Last weekend, as anyone who follows me on Twitter and Instagram will know (sorry for all the cake-related tweets and photos!) I went up to Warwick to stay with the lovely Sarah and also to hang out with some other amazing bloggy ladies. I’m going to tell you all about my weekend (and probably share more cake photos – consider this your cake warning klaxon!) in a later post this week but I thought that before then I’d share a little outfit post from the Saturday.
These photos were taken in the Rose Garden at Warwick Castle. As we were flouncing around a historical town, exploring a castle and later having a picnic on the lawns I felt that a summer-y dress was in order. I actually packed dungarees, but seeing all of the other ladies in their pretty dresses made me want to throw mine on too!

I bought the dress last year from ASOS and haven’t worn it nearly as much as I’d like, I love the shape and style of it – it has a cute triangle cutout back that looks pretty but led to some interesting tanlines!
Here is all of us (bar Gem who took the picture) lounging in the Rose Garden and trying to cool down on what was a very, very hot day!

It really was such a wonderful weekend, I can’t wait to share it with you all. I feel like I might have found my purpose in life – lounging in a rose garden in a pretty dress on a warm, sunny day filled with cake and wine. Now how do I make that happen on a more regular basis?
