I think I mentioned on here that I naughtily spent £60 at the Benefit event last Wednesday, and then my hair cut and colour cost in excess of £100 so my bank balance has taken a bit of a hit this month and there’s still three weeks until payday. April feels like a long month as I got paid before Easter, so I’m really going to have to watch my spending. Of course, as soon as you commit to being more thrifty of a month you tend to happen upon tempting treats that try and entice you to purchase them like sirens trying to sing your bank balance onto the rocks and smash it to bits (…or something…).
Here’s what’s caught my eye this week…
[1] I discovered Bonne Chance when they followed me on Twitter, and having a quick nose at their website I immediately fell in love. This Geometric Cutie dress [£33] just hopped into my basket and is now winging its way to me. They’re based in sunny Arizona but offer free shipping so I couldn’t resist – that dress is now out of stock but they have lots more beauties on their site.
[2] I am a massive Twin Peaks fan (albeit I’m such a scaredy cat I can’t bring myself to watch the last few episodes of the second season) so I have majorly fallen for this brooch of Dale Cooper’s dictaphone. However I’ve just noticed this too has now sold out! There are many more lovely things in Kate’s Little Store on Etsy though.
[3] I don’t normally find much that I like in River Island but this embroidered shirt dress [£35] will be perfect for the summer!
[4] I am coveting satchels of various brands and colours at the moment but I have rather fallen for this Cornflower Blue satchel by Zatchels [11.5″ – £86]. Such a pretty colour!
[5] Having discovered Mina’s £15 summer treats section I immediately added their Enid dress [£15] to my wishlist – love the colour and it has a studded bow! What more could you want from a dress?
[6] As well as stocking lots of amazing shoes, Spartoo now stock clothing and have also hugely expanded their range of handbags – I love this satchel [£38.99] by David Jones.
[7] I basically want the entire & Other Stories site after seeing them on a Nouvelle Daily wishlist – particularly love this tricolor straw hat [£17] which would be perfect for my trip to France in June!
[8] Definitely a ‘wishlist’ rather than a ‘to buy’ item – this Vivienne Westwood Borsa bag [£588] sets my heart a-flutter but is slightly out out of my price range!
[9] These Nike running shoes [£79.99] are far too pretty to go running in, I’m imagining them with turned up jeans and a floaty tee for the summer!
What are you coveting this week?
