Christmas in (phone) pictures

I am majorly feeling the post-Christmas sads today.  It always feels like it's over before it's even started, and I'm left feeling a little bit bereft.  It's so unfair that the family time and merriment whizzes by so quickly and then all of a sudden you're back home surrounded by Christmas cookbooks full of recipes you didn't have time to make, leftover strips of wrapping paper and empty tins of Celebrations.  I am back to work tomorrow, meaning any semblance of Christmas spirit will be well and truly blasted away.  But it was perfect whilst it lasted, and I am a very lucky sausage to have had such a wonderful few days with friends and family.

I have lots to share on here from the last couple of weeks, and now I am firmly back home and have taken up residence in my office with my fairy lights twinkling and cup of peppermint tea steaming away, I'm looking forward to catching up on blogging and blog-reading.  I have lots of scribbles in notebooks and photos on my camera to catch up on and share here (mainly from the beginning of December - oops!), but firstly I thought I'd share a little round up of phone photos from the last few days.  I took my SLR and my little Canon compact away with me for Christmas but didn't get either of them out of my bag, so phone photos it is! (I think that's a sign of a well-enjoyed time though, that I didn't take any actual photos!)

So, my Christmas was...

001. Sequins and smiles...

002. Homemade fudge and meringue cookies given as presents...

003. Walks in the forest with friends...

004. A bonus Christmas present from o2 for my lucky Daddy...

005. Being envious of my clever Daddy's driftwood making skills - this is his Rudolph head on their kitchen wall...

006. Adding our presents to the pile under my parents' tree when we arrived on the 23rd...

007. Taking Bodhi for a walk in his Christmas pudding outfit and jingle bell collar...

008. A serious face for an outfit for lunch on Christmas Eve...

009. And a walk along the seafront to burn off aforementioned lunch...

010. Christmas eve night excitement and board games around the tree...

011. Wearing my new ASOS coat for a walk to friends' for a glass of fizz on Christmas morning...

012. Christmas duck face pouts with my brother...

013. A huge Christmas 'lunch' (ate, as per every year, at about 5pm...)

014. Cider by the fire for Christmas number 2 at Tom's parents' on Boxing Day...

015. And a run along the seafront in Weymouth on the morning of the 27th...

016. And a day so sunny I had to wear my sunglasses....

017. More blue skies in the view out of Tom's old bedroom at his parents' on the morning of the 28th...

018. A lovely Sunday lunch in a pub with an open fire yesterday, with my parents and Tom's parents...

019. Followed by Bodhi getting very muddy on a dog walk in the forest...
