It was rather a case of love at first sight for me when Poppy Lux launched last year. The sister brand of Sugarhill Boutique, their website always leaves me with a long wishlist whenever I hop over for a visit – their clothes manage to achieve that perfect mix of stylish and cool (dare I say ‘hip’), with a hint of girliness thrown in. I was eager to see their S/S range and it certainly didn’t disappoint – with bold floral patterns, metallics and some rather perfect prints I can definitely see myself picking up a few pieces!
They recently got in contact to see if I wanted to try an item from their new range as well as give away a £50 voucher to one of my lovely readers. I had already been eyeing up this ‘blossom’ dress as I adore the vibrant print – it’s not your atypical all over floral print and I love that it’s so unique, it definitely belongs at a garden party accompanied by a Pimms and lemonade! I love the skater cut and the criss-cross back (which is not so low that you can’t wear a bra, hurrah!) I wore it with nude tights and wedges, but obviously with a few layers thrown over the top, it’s not quite that warm yet!
