You may have seen in my last post my adding the Boohoo platform shoe boots to my internet shopping wishlist, which quickly turned into a buying list on Friday night when left with some time to myself and some Christmas money suddenly burning a hole in my proverbial pocket. I don't know about you, but whenever I see a £4 delivery charge it makes me want to find something bargainous to add to the order to make it more worth my while. Hence, whilst nosing around the Boohoo site and picking out some 'new in' favourites (which are below), I also had to add to my order this longline blazer (£12), wool look military coat in black (£15), a double breasted cape in camel (£12) and this leather look shift dress (£18) from their sale. I am convincing myself that I always end up sending a couple of Boohoo bits back so that's not too much of a splurge. Can't wait for those shoe boots to arrive though, I'm hoping that platform will mean they're not totally impossible to walk in right? Right?
I was really impressed with some of Boohoo's new bits, in particular I love all their pleated dresses and skirts and girly pastels, hurry up Spring so I can flounce around in floaty dresses please! I've had my eye on the lita-a-like shoes at Boohoo too, unfortunately I was majorly put off Boohoo last time I ordered as their customer service was horrendous as some of the items were a really poor fit/quality.

I always read the reviews quite carefully as I find some of the more bargainous items are made from cheaper fabric, and the sizes vary quite hugely from one item to another (I ordered some size 14 shorts last time that were more like a size 8). Having said that I have several dresses in my wardrobe from Boohoo that are absolute favourites of mine - that's why I tend to order a few bits as they can be quite hit and miss :) xxx
DeleteI'm now a little in love with that playsuit! I've never really been an online shopper, as I'm quite fussy about how things fit and most of the (few!) things I've bought online haven't been exactly to my liking. I have done a LOT of browsing though, and I love the stuff on Boohoo though - I prefer it to ASOS. I'm fine with buying shoes and bags online though, and they do have some lovely ones on there :)
ReplyDeleteThe playsuit is gorgeous isn't it! It comes in a pinky beige too which is also really nice. Boohoo's sizing and quality can be a bit hit and miss so it can be risky buying from there but they do definitely have some lovely bags and shoes!xx
DeleteOoh I LOVE the look of that camel/faux leather coat, and the two dresses in the bottom right hand corner! I always like Boohoo's pieces but their quality is quite hit and miss, and sizing is all over the space :S xx
ReplyDeleteThat coat is gorgeous isn't it, I'm kind of regretting not buying it but I already had two coats in my basket so I couldn't really justify a third! You're totally right, they are always all over the place in terms of quality and sizing, it's why I never feel too bad about spending money on there as I know I'll always send half of it back!xxx

I've always really liked Boohoo, especially that they have free returns - I always try to make sure I get something I know I'll love so I don't end up just paying delivery! You've made some really love choices, those faux Litas are beautiful.
