To Autumn

Although Autumn doesn't officially start for a few weeks, I have been starting to feel very excited about it already, and have been compiling a list of things I love about Autumn in my head on my drives home from work.  Here is my list so far.  What are your favourite things about Autumn?

  6. Ooh I'm looking forward to lots of the same things as you, I also love Autumn colours, thick tights, drinking hot chocolate, snuggling up with a blanket...but the one thing I love most about Autumn is the promise of Christmas around the corner.

  10. Autumn is the best! I think it appeals to the granny lurking within me. September-December are some of my favourite months. Your list sums it up perfectly! I love the first frosts, and hot chocolate in the evening, and wrapping up in thick woolly tights and scarves...this list could go on forever... xx

  11. I was already looking forward to Autumn but this list has made me so excited! Excited for cold weather and rain sounds mad but I love so many of the things you've listed!

I also just really love the feeling of being warm - not warm like the sun makes you feel, but that cosy kind of warm you can only feel when it's cold outside but you're all wrapped up! I dug out my big arran knit cardigan to wear today but it was just still a bit too warm outside! :( xx

  18. My goodness yes yes yes! ALL these things! I have been looking forward to autumn for what feels like ages! Especially with the summer weather being unpredictable, now its only gone and been sunny today!Which, incidently was the day I woke up to mist and decided it was the day for my quilted jacket and woolly hat! Alas, the sun ruined it! I |DO NOT bode well in extreme heat! Cannot wait for autumn clothing and excuses to mooch inside in pjs with films, books and crafts! xxxx

  19. Oh I love this, I love Autumn when the leaves all start changing and it's not too cold but just a bit nippy so you can snuggle in warm jumpers and scarves and not still be freezing! Perfect :)

  23. I always thought of myself as a summer girl- I like warm weather and ice cream. But This last year I realised that I actually love autumn. I like being able to justify covering myself back up and pretty much everything on your amazing list. Oh and the excuse to have an extra cup of coffe at about 4pm, to warm me up, and coming home to warm lights in the house when it's getting dark outside and being able to wear my scarves again and wearing black opaque tights again.... OH and curling up in my big warm hoody and watching guilty pleasure tv like the XFactor .... Sorry I'll stop now.
